Sir Damon and Lady Buffini and fellow Trustee Karen Platt visited Chisenhale Primary School in Tower Hamlets.  They were invited by head teacher Gemma Anidi to join the children’s school lunch in the dining hall prepared by Chef David from Chefs In Schools. Prepared from fresh, Chef David served chili mince and vegetarian chili with wraps and rice plus jalapeno peppers, cucumber and tomato accompaniments, all presented in different dishes on each table “family style”. The children were then able to serve themselves easily sitting at their tables. It was a joyous to see them thoroughly enjoying their healthy meal with many having second helpings. Chef David is brilliant – thinking of different menus and ways to keep the children interested and excited about their food.

Congratulations to Chisenhale Primary School for adopting this brilliant initiative wholeheartedly.
