Debbie Buffini and Maria Hindmarsh attended the 10 year celebration of Schoolreaders at the House of Commons, hosted by Richard Fuller MP on 15 October 2024.   Indeed it was Richard Fuller who introduced BCF to Jane Whitbread, the founder of Schoolreaders in 2020 and BCF have now become part of the Schoolreaders Founding Circle.   This academic year 24/25 Schoolreaders are supporting 27,000 children with 1 to 1 reading each week, compared with 18,500 last year.

The evening which was very well attended, was a perfect way to mark this charity’s amazing  achievements.
