The children from Kingfisher Primary School in Medway attended a farm visit that provided them with a wonderful opportunity to see food growing, taste it, talk to the producers and really strengthen their understanding of how food is produced. The aim was to create real impact on their lives and for them to leave with enthusiasm to become ‘mini producers’ at their own school farmers markets, helping them to learn about healthy eating.

The trip was also be hugely beneficial to the teachers who accessed the training and support around the project.
