The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) is the UK’s largest gardening charity dedicated to making the UK a greener and more beautiful place.

The RHS is creating a new National Centre for Horticultural Science and Learning at its flagship, RHS Garden Wisley in Surrey. The Centre will provide a major upgrade to their learning, scientific and public engagement facilities and will enable the team of RHS scientists to find solutions for current social and environmental challenges affecting the planet.

Support from the Buffini Chao Foundation helps the RHS to grow its educational programme at Wisley. In particular, it will help to create two state-of-the-art learning studios within the new Centre. The studios will be fully accessible, equipped with the latest technology and directly connected to a dedicated teaching garden designed and built to maximise teaching opportunities.

“We are enormously grateful to the Buffini Chao Foundation for their generous contribution towards the Education Suite. The new Centre will enable us to significantly increase our capacity to engage with young people, especially those children aged 11+. I’d like to thank the trustees for their support and commitment to increasing opportunities for young people at RHS Garden Wisley”
