We were delighted to host a celebratory event at the Buffini Chao Deck at the National Theatre with representatives from a wide range of causes supported by the Buffini Chao Foundation.
Our Foundation was set up in 2005 with a focus on giving opportunity to young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The total of grants given during this 20-year period has amounted to over £6 million supporting over 60 charities operating in different sectors – Education, Performing Arts, Sports and Well-Being and latterly Conservation.
Throughout this time, we have, together with our Trustees (Maria Hindmarsh, Sue Gutierrez, Karen Platt and newly appointed Grace Chan), been amazed at the dedication and commitment of those working on the ground and we are excited to celebrate this 20-year milestone with those charities.
We also look forward to the next 20 years and hope we can continue supporting great organisations making a difference!
