World-class ballet for the widest possible audience.

Founded in 1950, English National Ballet (ENB) aims to take ballet to the widest possible audience and reach people from all walks of life. We aim to celebrate the classics whilst evolving the art form and we strive to make ballet relevant, exciting, and accessible to audiences old and new.

Although based in London, ENB tours large-scale work across the UK and internationally, completing over 100 performances in an average year. We work with a broad range of choreographers and artists and we champion talent development.

Additionally, through our Engagement programmes, we connect with people across demographics and around the country, delivering positive physical, mental, and societal benefits through dance. Our engagement work ranges from talent development, Dance Health activities and work with schools, children and young people.

“The Buffini Chao Foundation has generously donated funding towards our incredible facilities in East London as well as provided support towards ENB’s New Work fund, forging innovation and embracing tradition. We continue to greatly appreciate the Foundation’s support.”
